The sentiment of the past is the growth medium of our life. Events, which happened in the years that passed, formed us to what we are today and what we will become tomorrow. This is true not only of the moments of pleasures or experiences of achievement. It applies to the full spectrum of our existence. Sadness, shock, ecstasy, achievement or just mellow being and times of bliss.
This is how we became what we are today. We cannot expect to sleep through life just to wake up one day and have wisdom and became a grown-up. Life is there to live with all its intensities. Sorrow sculptures the roughness away, and joy mellows the inside. Without the whole experience we can never grow to “know”.
So often we wish our time away in the hope of something better somewhere in the distant future, and in the process lose valuable progression inputs.
Focus on the present; experience the full concentration of what this life offers. Allow today to guide you to full knowledge.
my discovery: the mentioning of sadness, shock, ecstasy, achievement or just mellow being and times of bliss – truly needs to be integrated in once existence – rather than separated (which we often choose to do with the more negative side of the spectrum). Only then balance can be enhanced/achieved – leading to a more desirable state of being
Yes!, thanks.
